APRIL-MAY, 2008:
We will complete the year by reviewing

concepts and looking ahead to new topics

students will study in high school.

Remember to gather all of your EXTRA CREDIT

passes and take advantage of this opportunity.

Let's have a great rest of the year!

Students applied various formulas Thurs., Oct. 18

to figure data on number of bubble gum

chomps per given time period.

Of course, there were "bubble challenges" as well.

ACTIVITY STATIONS

Concepts are reviewed and introduced by

participating in computer labs, video slideshows,

learning games, video viewing, and hands-on

activities.  The students will complete a

six day rotation with these activities.

(Students were given a hard copy

of 8th grade Science Standards

on August 15, 2007.)

Make sure students to review material EACH evening.

When graded papers are returned,

students are responsible

for entering results in their assignment books.

By doing so, students can maintain their average.

TECH LAB

Working out our brain and motor skills!

POWER WHOOSH for EVERYONE!  TERRIFIC JOB!

It was "Coffee House Thursday" during 2nd Period one day.

A student had lead the FCA members in songs

during the Thursday morning meeting at 7:00 a.m.

Students are always encouraged to apply their

talents, so during Science class, the students

enjoyed some acoustics while completing an assignment.
