2008  VETERANS' DAY PROGRAM

November 11, 2008

On the morning of November 11, Ellis held its annual Veterans' Day Program.

Arranged by Debra Shuler, 8th Grade American History teacher, the program

showed how Ellis Middle remembers and appreciates our country's veterans.

Included in the program were comments read by Mrs. Shuler's students,

musical pieces played by the Ellis Orchestra and Band students, songs

performed by the Ellis Chorus students, special remarks from Colonel Fred See,

presentation from Hendersonville High School's ROTC, and the reading of veterans from

Ellis Principal, Opal Poe.  The Ellis Orchestra and Chorus is directed by Andie Thomas.

The Ellis Band is directed by Chris Seger.
